Mediaproxy to Launch ENIGMA 4 Logging Solution at IBC 2003

Mediaproxy will officially launch at IBC 2003 its ENIGMA 4 (Series 4) logging solution. The ENIGMA 4 provides several new unique logging and monitoring features currently not offered in the marketplace.

All Enigma Series 4 products may be configured with the following capabilities from the standard package:
* Media logging to disk -and/or- near-real-time monitoring to desktop clients
* user-defined segment durations from 1 minute to 24hrs per clip
* No gaps - overlap recording at transition points-
* Remote, interactive configuration and management of operating parameters
* Virtually unlimited number of programs in a LogServer network
* Comprehensive logging of media errors and system operating states
* real-time indicators in monitoring clients, and displayed alongside archive playback
* Uses standard Windows 2000/XP/Windows Media platform
* Utilises standard TCP/IP network infrastructure/internet connectivity
* Multiple programs per chassis (limited by hardware performance)
* Unique security/licensing of LogServer components

ENIGMA 4 includes as, optional extras, a range of industry unique monitoring/logging options that are custom configured to meet specific user requirements

These options include:
* Extensive, flexible scheduling of ALL LogServer operations
* Presentation 'As-Run log' integration to LogPlayer client
* Hot-Swap software modules *
* MediaServer system for local redistribution of monitored programs
* Front-end tuner/STB/signal processing options (configured to customer specification)
* Control/monitoring of third-party equipment or environmental sensors
* Hierarchical Management
* Sub-clip extraction at user desktop
*Internet functionality may require extended network capabilities.
*Actual archive period depends on a combination of disk capacity and encoding profiles
