A pilot for MTV was post-produced at Shooters recently. "Twisted" aired as a pilot frequently this spring on MTV. The half-hour show tells stories of two very unusual "twenty-somethings" whose lives are changed by a twist of fate.
Working with a sparse amount of footage and limited B-roll called for maximum resourcefulness from Shooters staff of Rob Graham, Senior Editor, and Graphic Designer, Kris Magyarits. For a segment about an Iowa man who sold all his possessions on eBay, they developed campy graphics with still photos to use in place of non-existent B-roll of the man's possessions
.
Musically-talented Shooters employees pooled their creativity in Shooters' on-site digital recording studio to create custom music for the show's "open." For the rest of the show, Graham says he hand-picked snippets of popular music, each with lyrics relevant to the footage it accompanied.
Aliza Rosen produced and directed the show. Rosen works as a senior producer for Philadelphia-based Banyan Productions.
Shooters Post & Transfer is located at the Curtis Center, Independence Square West (6th and Walnut) in Old City Philadelphia.
