By Staff, September 12, 2003

InfoComm 2004, to be held June 5-12in Atlanta, Georgia, is calling for presenters.

The International Communications Industries Association, Inc. (ICIA) is the association serving its worldwide membership and the AV communications industry as a provider of education, exhibitions and information services. ICIA is the founder of InfoComm, the premier gathering of audiovisual (AV) communications professionals who come to learn about the latest technologies and available products as well as new and alternative applications.

When you present at InfoComm, you are provided the opportunity of reaching thousands of audiovisual professionals and their professional service partners. By sharing your expertise and knowledge about audiovisual technologies, applications, and related business and professional topics, you continue in a long tradition of educating others who strive every day to maintain the highest level of professionalism in the audiovisual industry.

There are many educational and presentation opportunities at the Show. The Professional Education and Training Committee (PETC) of ICIA solicits and reviews proposals for programs that do not promote or feature one manufacturer or product. These programs include three-day courses as part of the Institute for Professional Development (IPD) preceding the Exhibition, four-hour or eight-hour workshops, and two-hour seminars. Manufacturer’s product-specific training opportunities are also available through ICIA Exhibitions.

Speakers receive a complimentary registration to the show and free admittance to any other ICIA-sponsored seminars and workshops. It is assumed that if the speaker is going to InfoComm with his/her company, the company will assume travel costs. If the speaker is attending InfoComm as a presenter only, ICIA will pay travel expenses within specific guidelines provided
