President/ CEO of Henninger Media Services to Receive ITVA-DC Award

Rob Henninger, president, CEO and founder of Henninger Media Services, has been selected to receive a Distinguished Achievement Award from ITVA-DC, the DC Chapter of the International Television Association. The award, honoring industry leaders who have helped shape and define the film and video production industry, will be presented to Henninger at the ITVA-DC Peer Awards ceremonies to be held September 19 at the National Press Club in Washington, DC.

Henninger began his career as a classically trained stage actor and later became a highly respected film, and then video, editor

. He founded Henninger Video (now Henninger Media Services) in June, 1983 with a commitment to making the DC market a recognized and respected post production center. Under his guidance, HMS has expanded from Arlington, VA, to include facilities in Richmond and downtown Washington, DC. Responding to changing technological and market conditions, Henninger has recently refocused the firm to provide the finest in multimedia and interactive media solutions in addition to media production and post-production.
