E-mediavision.com to Show POINT Broadcast Graphics Systems at IBC 2003
By Staff, September 23, 2003

E-mediavision.com is showcasing its new enhanced range of 'POINT' presentation & broadcast graphics systems, and the European launch of its new 'Broadcast Toolkit' range of switching, monitoring and conversion products at IBC 2003. E-mediavision.com, together with its partner Spice Design Consultants, will be demonstrating its design, systems integration, control and broadcast monitoring display solutions on Stand 1.231.

POINT - Broadcast TV Illustrator and Graphics Systems
The POINT touch screen system allows operators to "draw" onto a TV picture in real time. Enhancing presentations, POINT is ideally suited to live productions due to its ease of operation. The control surface is a touch sensitive LCD (or Plasma for in-shot use) screen with a simple graphical interface allowing fast and error free operation. The touch screen allows the user to instantly draw freehand, place animated arrows and even recall previously saved graphics and animations. It is easy to freehand draw by simply touching and moving a finger across the screen. Scalable arrows can be dragged and curved in real time with two or more touches

. In a live situation waiting for things to happen is not an option, so he tools in POINT operate instantaneously, enabling the operator to concentrate on the commentary or presentation.

The POINT range of systems comprises of:
POINT - Broadcast SDI and Analogue system
POINT Lite - Broadcast entry-level system
POINT Trainer - Off line and sports coaching application system
IPOINT - Corporate presentation system for drawing over computer based s/w and images

Broadcast Toolkit - range of products providing real world solutions for broadcast engineers and systems integrators

The 'Broadcast Toolkit' range has been designed for engineers by engineers for problem solving solutions often found in the field. The range, which is to be expanded currently, includes:

Miniature conversion products all housed within a SCART plug housing and provide SDI to analogue and analogue to SDI conversion, models available include versions with audio embedding and disembedding.

A HDSDI to XGA conversion module housed within a compact case provides an economic interface for displaying High Definition HDSDI signals onto Plasma screens, Projectors or Computer display monitors.

The POCMON monitor is a portable, slim, rugged battery powered field monitor, which can display analogue composite or SDI signals onto a high brightness 3.3-inch screen.

The Broadcast Toolkit group also includes a range of video and audio monitoring, switching and conversion products.

Broadcast Monitoring and Systems Integration Solutions

e-mediavision.com and its partners Spice design will be demonstrating their video and audio monitoring wall solutions together with control systems and system design, integration and installation services.
