Post Logic, Outpost Digital to Launch NY Post Facility
By Elina Shatkin, September 25, 2003

Post Logic Studios and Outpost Digital have announced plans to launch a state-of-the-art facility providing high-end digital mastering, graphics, online, editing and effects services to Manhattan-based production clients. Beginning this November, the facility will offer the same high quality and service to New York clients as is offered on the West Coast.

The facility has signed Miramax Films as its first flagship client, in a three-year deal that will include feature-mastering and postproduction work for advertising, airline, cable and home video projects. Miramax will utilize the Post Logic and Outpost Digital New York facilities as well as Post Logic Studios Hollywood, visual effects boutique creocollective and Outpost Digital's Los Angeles and London locations

.

The deal was brokered by Miramax's EVP/CFO Ross Landsbaum and Senior
Executive Frank Rainone, along with Post Logic's President Barry Snyder and
@radical.media COO/CFO Aric Ackerman.

Post Logic is currently staffing up with a team of 15, including colorists, engineers and producers to work out of the new space, located at 435 Hudson St. in Manhattan's West Village‹adjacent to the existing Outpost Digital.
Together, the companies' combined slate of services will span digital mastering, restoration, DRS, audio, online, editorial, visual effects, graphics, editing and finishing services related to theatrical, television, commercial and music video releases.

Outpost Digital is co-owned by @radical.media and Lexington Commercial Holdings. Lexington is also the parent company and sole owner of Post
Logic Studios and Santa Monica-based effects boutique creocollective.

Post Logic Studios has been a Hollywood mainstay in high-end post-production for more than 10 years.
