2G Digital Post, the only all-nonlinear HD/SD online facility to specialize in HD & SD editing, graphics and 5.1 audio for TV and airline cutdowns, today announced that Tony Brown has joined the company to lead Sales/Operations efforts
. Brown will be responsible for driving adoption of 2G’s unique low-cost/high-efficiency HD/SD online approach by additional studio and distributor clients.
Brown comes to 2G following a 6-year tenure at Performance Post, a facility that pioneered 720p HD online processes for program re-formatting. There,
Brown was instrumental in helping ABC launch its initial HD programming, easing the network’s transition to posting in the new formats. Prior to that, Brown spent five years handling sales and operations at L.A. facilities Lightning Dubbs and Pacific Media.
