STOMP started stomping in a new Dolby spot at theaters that premiered "Matrix Reloaded" last week. The theatrical release finished in HD was a collaboration between rhinofx and Rhinoceros Post and will run worldwide where all Dolby films are shown.
STOMP was chosen by Dolby because it was a visually interesting way to demonstrate the audio capabilities of surround sound
. The audio was specially designed for the wide screen theatrical release, as was the choreography.
Because of its worldwide theatrical distribution, Rhinoceros Post did the color correction and film to tape in non-compressed HD for quality. It then went to rhinofx where the spot was conformed in the inferno in various formats for worldwide release.
