Avid Technology, Inc. today announced the launch of its "Experience Avid|DNA" tour. The two-month tour, with stops in nine cities across the U.S. and
Canada, will give customers the opportunity to discuss industry trends, learn new tips and tricks, and get a free, in-depth look at Avid's revolutionary new product line unveiled at NAB 2003. These new products include Avid DS Nitris, Media Composer Adrenaline, and Avid Xpress Pro with Avid Mojo - all of which leverage the power of the new Avid DNA family - the industry's first nonlinear hybrid architecture to link host-based software capabilities and hardware-based acceleration for unparalleled real-time price-performance. The tour will also showcase new products from Digidesign and Softimage, Avid's respective audio and 3D/animation businesses, and highlight how they can be integrated into a collaborative workflow with Avid's editing solutions.
The "Experience Avid|DNA" tour will consist of one-day events in each of the nine cities. The events will include five, 1 1/2-hour educational sessions between 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM, as well as a complimentary lunch and presentation by an Avid executive
