Johnny English Cut on Lightworks Touch
By Elina Shatkin, September 30, 2003

"Johnny English," a spoof spy-thriller staring Rowan Atkinson, John Malkovich, Natalie Imbruglia and Ben Miller, was cut on the new Lightworks Touch NLE system. The movie, from Rogue Male Films, was the biggest budget UK production of 2002, topped the UK box office for three weeks on opening in April, and is set for US release in July
.

The production used two Touch systems: the editor's system for the main story editing, and an assistant's machine for producing the many effects and the film cutting lists. Lightworks Touch, introduced at the IBC Convention last year is an editing system that complements the Lightworks user interface. Other recent high profile Lightworks-based features include "The Core" and "Bruce Almighty."
