Arcatron will formally unveil the new SRC-200 model in the company’s family of ControLynx room control systems at InfoComm 03, booth #3639. SRC-100/200 room control systems are the definitive controllers for typical AV systems in classrooms, boardrooms, churches and meeting rooms and training centers. The systems’ elegant design offers incredible flexibility in a simple package to manage media presentations in these environments.
The highly cost-effective systems, with straightforward graphical point-and-click configuration, eliminate the need for software programming, breaking the price and maintenance barrier often encountered in these applications. The SRC-100/200 systems control video displays, computer sources, VCRs, DVDs, document cameras, screens, lifts, switchers, audio mixers, lighting and auxiliary inputs. Offering operational simplicity and a wide range of control, the SRC-100/200 systems fit perfectly between very simple projector control systems and much larger presentation control systems.
The new, eye-catching MCP-100F flush-mount PictureButton media control panel will also be shown along with the existing MCP-100 desktop panel and UCP-100 rackmount panel. The elegant shape and blue glow of the LCD PictureButtons exude an artistic style to complement modern room designs
. Powerful PictureButton media control panels combine the graphic flexibility of a touchscreen with the positive tactile reliability of push button switches. As a PictureButton is pressed, it displays a new graphic, icon or text to reflect menu updates. Backlight colors also change to confirm a selection. This tremendous combination offers incredibly intuitive operation unique to Arcatron’s ControLynx systems. These rugged PictureButton media control panels will stand up to the toughest environments, for many years and millions of button presses. The control panels are so cost-effective that many systems incorporate multiple panels for additional system flexibility.
The SRC-100/200 room control systems are designed to simplify the operation of AV systems so that everyone can easily harness the power of a media presentation. Trouble-free system installation, reliability and predictable operation guarantees years of successful presentations. Multiple serial, IR and relay ports are available to control the room’s AV and presentation equipment. Future equipment changes are no problem with built-in learning ports and the included graphical point-and-click Conductor configuration software. "The simplicity of the system’s operation has been a huge advantage to our clients. Almost anyone can walk in and use the systems with no prior training," said Bob Ginger, Arcatron’s CEO.
