By Staff, September 30, 2003

Anticipation is building for the Projection Summit, which will take place all day Sunday and Monday at InfoComm, June 1 and 2, prior to the opening of the show floor. Insight Media and McLaughlin Consulting Group are the primary sponsors of the Projection Summit.

More inclusive in scope this year -- not focused solely on the market for sub-portable projectors as in previous years -- the Projection Summit will address a broad spectrum of marketing and product development issues including the evolving role of pro-AV solution providers, commercial/home market crossover products and projector reliability.

Day one of the Projection Summit will focus on the business of projection system manufacture and will feature the viewpoints of component suppliers, system integrators and manufacturing centers.

Day two will focus on the market opportunities for projection systems (front and rear, professional and consumer) and will showcase the viewpoints of market analysts, product manufacturers, and distribution channel partners.

An executive-level conference for all members of the projection industry, the Projection Summit is geared to Buyers, Top Management, Product Managers, Technologists, Investors, Market Planners, Marketing & Sales Executives, Pro AV Dealers, Projection System Manufacturers (front and rear, professional and consumer), OEM/ODM Manufacturers, Component and Subsystem Suppliers.

This year's Summit features a new twin-track conference agenda

. The Market/ Application track focuses on key projection market segments and issues. The Value Chain/Technology track zeroes in on technical and manufacturing challenges confronting the industry
