QSC Showcases AcousticDesign Speaker Series
By Staff, September 30, 2003

QSC Audio Products Inc. (Booth 853) is showcasing its new AcousticDesign Series AD-S82 loudspeakers at Booth 853.

With sleek, contemporary styling that lends itself perfectly to multiple environments and applications ranging from hotels, restaurants, meeting and convention facilities through home theater and other multimedia environments, this extraordinary loudspeaker system incorporates QSC's revolutionary IntelliDock intelligent docking system (patent pending) combined with the equally significant Advanced Directivity 60-degree X 90-degree rotatable waveguide

.

Available in both black and white color schemes that can also be painted to match any specific decor, these weather resistant enclosures are available in standard and high output configurations.

With both high output and standard versions, the AD-S82 is a two-way system housed in a ported enclosure made from injection molded, high-impact polystyrene. This enclosure incorporates an eight-inch weatherproof, LF transducer with a heavy-duty double roll cloth surround. High output versions employ a one-inch exit compression HF driver while standard versions provide a one-inch pure titanium dome tweeter. Both versions are available with or without a transformer. The HF driver is coupled with QSC's unique Advanced Directivity rotatable waveguide-enabling the loudspeaker to deliver accurately focused sound, regardless of its mounted orientation.
