Studio 57 Adds Sony 24P HDTV Package

Studio 57 and Sony Broadcast announced the delivery of a Sony HDW-F900 camera package and a Sony HDW-F500 Recorder system to Studio 57. The addition of this cutting edge equipment brings 24 frame-per-second electronic cinematography to the Long Island facility.

The technology allows producers to shoot a high definition image in a variety of HDTV formats including 24p, made popular in the production of a number of recent large budget films

. Studio 57 provides in-house capabilities to down-convert the shot images to regular resolution in a variety of tape formats for those clients that wish to shoot in high definition and edit in standard definition.

Studio 57 is an 18,000 square foot full service production facility on Long Island with complete production, post, Internet and studio facilities. The company currently completes in-house studio shooting, post-production and distribution of over 60 regional television commercials a year. Services also include complete data streaming and warehousing, multi-camera studio production, DVD/CD authoring and in-house duplication.
