Digital Voodoo announced that HD|Fury, a high definition capture and playback card featuring 1 HD SDI Input, 1 HD SDI Output and 8 channels of AES/EBU Digital Audio and simultaneous SD SDI downconversion, is now shipping. HD|Fury offers the highest quality video input and output for the Macintosh. Digital Voodoo will be demonstrating HD|Fury at NAB 2003 (Booth # SL-2431), April 7-10.
The HD|Fury is compatible with all Macintosh High Definition design and editing applications such as Final Cut Pro
. Users can work with uncompressed 10-bit 4:2:2 video directly in YUV colorspace.

HD|Fury is immediately available from all Digital Voodoo Master Resellers, and is priced at $11,995 US. It is bundled with Digital Voodoo's Media Transfer application. Media Transfer permits the frame accurate capture and insertion from and to an RS-422 controllable digital tape deck such as Panasonic's D5.
