OmniBus Announces New North America Appointments

OmniBus Systems, a provider of comprehensive automation and asset management solutions to the broadcast industry, announced two new appointments that will strengthen the company's technical support capability in North American markets. OmniBus has appointed Mark Wilson to the position of senior project engineer, which includes responsibility for coordinating new installations and providing technical support to existing customers, and Ramon Agbunag to the role of customer support engineer, which also requires providing technical support to OmniBus clients.

Wilson joins OmniBus Systems with a broad blend of experience that includes field work and project management for broadcast facilities and networks of virtually every size, located in markets throughout North America. Prior to joining OmniBus Systems, Wilson served as news production specialist for Associated Press Broadcast Technology. During his five-year tenure at AP, he led and supported installations for clients including NPR, WABC, NY1, Time Warner, and Telemundo

. Wilson also consulted with more than 50 broadcast organizations to improve efficiency and communications.

Agbunag brings to his role at OmniBus an extensive knowledge of broadcast applications and system implementations, with a strong background in management, development, integration, installation, and support of automation systems for facilities of every size. His experience includes a year with Comcast as a broadcast engineer, before which he served in the roles of solution architect, project manager, and broadcast automation consultant for Encoda Systems. During his two years with Encoda, Agbunag conducted on-site functional analysis for clients including Echostar, DirecTV, AT&T Broadband, Voice of America, and XM Radio, as well as for numerous call-letter stations. He introduced and demonstrated product solutions for broadcast groups such as Meredith, Sinclair, Cisneros, McGraw Hill, and Televisa while also performing internal training and product development duties. Prior to Encoda, Agbunag was senior microsystems technician with Raytheon Engineers and Constructor Inc.
