Larry Chernoff and Joshua Touber have united to form Chernoff Touber Associates. The team will use their extensive knowledge in technology, software, post production and facility design and management to advise entertainment studios, advertising agencies, broadcasters and commercial / promo edit houses. Their offering will also include consulting for digital asset management, video and data convergence and facility management software requirements.
Chernoff, a founder of FilmCore, ENCORE, and R!OT, most recently served as President of Creative Services Worldwide for Ascent Media Group from 1998 to 2002 after the sale of the aforementioned facilities to Ascent
. In January 2003 he was named Chairman of Creative Services at Ascent Media Group as part of a transition to his new role as an industry consultant.
Touber most recently served as C.O.O. of Creative Services for Ascent Media Group for two years and was Managing Director of Encore Hollywood for two years prior. As a partner and VP of Operations at XyTech Systems he was a major factor in that company’s growth and was one of the original designers of their facility management software product, considered the industry standard for post and production facility management.
