Henninger Media Services Adds Peter Coan as Editor

Henninger Media Services, one of the Mid-Atlantic’s largest video, film, and multimedia solution providers, has named Peter Coan as an editor, with responsibilities focused on offlining for Henninger Productions’ high definition work.

Most recently, Coan was a freelance editor/producer in the Washington, DC market, contributing to projects for National Geographic, Discovery Communications and others. He received an Emmy nomination in 1997 for Discovery Channel’s “Eyes in the Sky” and co-edited National Geographic’s Emmy-winning “Afghanistan Revealed” in 2001

. Coan was also production manager for the Smithsonian’s IMAX 3D production of “Galapagos.”

Further growing its creative team, Henninger has also named Andrew Stubbs Johnston as graphic artist/media specialist. A recent graduate of George Mason University, Johnston won the 2003 Academic Achievement Award in Digital Arts and Animation. He has previously interned at Henninger Productions, where he designed the animated menus for the DVD of the History Channel’s documentary “Gold!”
