The Videomaker Expo returns to the Hilton Burbank Airport & Convention Center Jan. 22-24, 2004. Back by popular demand is the Pre-Expo Conference on DVD Authoring, which will be held Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2004. Videomaker Expo is a three-day event for video production enthusiasts of all skill levels, and the industry's camcorder and video production event. Attendees will benefit from an exhibit floor with over 50 companies offering hands-on video gear demonstrations and over 30 informative seminars and industry panels, as well as opportunities to network with each other on the subjects of camcorders, digital video, video editing and making streaming video for the Internet.

This year's Pre-Expo Conference is on DVD Authoring
. The Pre-Expo Conference occurs the day prior to Videomaker Expo and will focus on what attendees need to know about putting their videos on disk-based media, how to output video to DVD-Video for playback in home DVD Players and how to author DVD-ROM interactive presentation. Videomaker
Expo attendees will enjoy hearing keynote speaker Glen Morgan -- Hollywood producer, director, editor -- discuss his experience in almost every aspect of Hollywood post production. He has edited features (from Roger Corman to HBO), music videos (Madonna's "Material Girl"), and reality television (MTV's "The Real World"), as well as producing and directing reality television for NBC and MTV. He shot and edited television news in the early days of 3/4" video and has remained interested in all levels of video technology, particularly as it relates to independent and documentary work.
