Mastering in HD is more than just having a great finishing system like an Avid DS Nitris; it's the ability to handle any format or problem that the customer might throw at during the editorial process. Very often your HD project, while edited in a common HD format is made up from a variety of format sources, both SD and HD, both video and film originated. These formats need to be converted to a common format within the editing system. During the up-conversion, if it is film originated, you often find some of the material may have cadence breaks, undesirable artifacts or both

. During the editing process and output process, you again may find yourself having to produce a variety of formats, other than what is in your timeline.

Attend this demo, if you find yourself outsourcing to solve these formatting problems or find many hours being consumed fixing cadence breaks and artifacts by hand. Teranex is a provider of real-time formats and standards conversion solutions, image restoration systems, and pre-compression enhancement tools that focus on solving the common problems facing everyone who works in HD.

Our seminar will show you how a cost effective and self contained Teranex can be used to restore film based material, fix cadence breaks, and up-convert or cross convert SD and HD material into your Avid DS Nitris editorial timeline, all in real-time. And, during output, how to deliver mulitple SD and HD formats at the push of a button.
