Modern VideoFilm has brought on Pat Repola as their new Vice President of Feature Post. Modern VideoFilm is a reputable full-service post-production facility that provides telecine, on-line editing, visual effects and digital intermediate services for the entertainment industry. Repola brings aboard his expertise and heads the digital intermediate and feature post department.
Repola started at Disney in the visual effects department for five years, then joined Boss Film, a visual effects company in Marina Del Rey
. He worked with optical compositing at Boss, as well as at ILM, where he served in their visual effects department for two years. Next, Repola took his knowledge of the digital film world to Cinesite.
Repola isn’t new to the digital world and has always loved working in film. Previous projects he was involved with included “Tron” for Disney, “Who Framed Roger Rabbit?” for ILM, and “Space Jam” for Cinesite. He also worked on “O’ Brother Where Art Thou,” “Harts War,” “Open Range” and the restoration of “Snow White.”
