KDDI R&D Laboratories, a division of Japan's global telecommunications company KDDI Corporation, will introduce its H.264/MPEG-4 AVC encoder/decoder, MPEG authoring and transmission software for the professional and "prosumer" markets at the NAB 2004 Show in Las Vegas from April 19 to April 22, 2004. The featured products and technologies are recently standardized H.264/MPEG-4 AVC, and MPEG-2/MPEG-4 solutions for broadband, mobile and HDTV applications including:
MP-Factory ver.4.0--Universal MPEG SDK for MPEG-1/-2/-4 and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC standards featuring real-time encoding/decoding/transcoding, frame accurate fast editing, fast audio/video bitrate conversion, and content-based fast audio/video indexing; MPEG Intelli Player ver.1.2--Professional MPEG-1/-2/-4 and H.264/MPEG-4 AVC software player for frame accurate playback, intelligent trick play, and mark-in/out operations with MPEG (IBP) files; MPEG Edit Studio Pro ver.1.3--High-quality nonlinear MPEG-4, HDTV MPEG-2, and recently standardized HDV (High Definition Video) editing tool used for high quality broadband video streaming and digital TV broadcasts; MPmark--Supports H.264/MPEG-4 AVC and MP3 audio as well as MPEG-2/-4 video, watermarks can be embedded in compressed media data directly.
