Future Media Concepts (FMC) , a digital media training center and conference producer, announced that it will organize the 2005 Post-Production educational conference at NAB 2005.
The 2005 conference promises to be even bigger and better with an increased number of sessions, a wider variety of topics, Spanish and Japanese language tracks, booth camps for beginners as well as master classes for experienced users, and the same emphasis on high-quality training by some of the industry’s most respected professionals.
With over 160 sessions spanning a broad variety of topics ranging from digital video and film editing to sound design, web design, DVD authoring, compression, advanced compositing, creative case studies, business development tips and production tips, this year’s conference drew 1,250 attendees and was a complete success

Following the success of the very first NAB Individual Creative Excellence (ICE) Awards, which were also part of the Post|Production World Conference, Future Media Concepts and the National Association of Broadcasters are already planning next year’s awards The 2005 categories will include: Graphic & Animation (Broadcast); Graphic & Animation (Non-Broadcast); Graphic & Animation (Student); Interactive Design (Non-Broadcast) Producing & Directing (Non-Broadcast); Videography & Photography (Non-Broadcast); Editing (Broadcast); and Editing (Non-Broadcast). Editors, graphic artists, sound designers, web designers and videographers from any entity that uses the medium of digital art to produce exceptional work will be eligible to enter.
