Pinnacle Networked Graphics Prep Televisa for Athens Olympics

Pinnacle Systems, Inc. announced that Televisa, the largest media company in the Spanish speaking world, has significantly expanded its graphics infrastructure in preparation for its coverage of the 2004 Summer Olympic Games
. The complete Pinnacle package of two FXDeko II, three Deko2200 and one HD Deko500 character generator systems have been paired with three dual-channel Thunder LT clip servers, a Lightning still server and two Dual Channel DVEXCEL DVE systems, to significantly expand Televisa's graphics capability during the Olympics and later as part of its fully networked Pinnacle Vortex news production environment.

The newly purchased equipment will be installed at Televisa Chapultepec, the production hub for the network.
