To accommodate current and future growth based upon several recently won large contracts, systems integration provider, Digital System Technology, Inc. (DST), is moving its Atlanta headquarters office into a nearby 24,000 square-foot facility. The new location features a 6,500 square-foot, climate-controlled, isolated fabrication room; 6,000-square-foot warehouse; and 12,000 square feet of office space.
Even before moving its headquarters office from Irwindale, California to Atlanta, Georgia in September of last year, the company realized it needed more space than its 13,000 square-foot facility provided. The Atlanta location had been a satellite office with a second "palletization" (construction before shipment to the site) facility
.
DST plans to hold industry events in its new Atlanta digs, such as regional Society of Broadcast Engineers (SBE) and Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers (SMPTE) meetings; in addition to classes and equipment/industry open houses.
DST will hold its first open house on August 19th, from 11am-3pm, to acquaint area video professionals with its new location and services. Sony Electronics and On-Air Systems executives will be on hand to demonstrate new technology. Sony's HDTV mobile van, the "Sony HD Like No Other" truck, will be parked outside the building for individual tours.
The new address is: 1890 Beaver Ridge Circle, Suite D, Norcross, Georgia
30071. Phone and fax numbers remain the same.
