ViewCast Serves as Tech Sponsor for Republican National Convention

ViewCast Corporation announced that it was an official technology supporter of TVWorldwide.com's webcasting of the 2004 Republican National Convention. The prime-time and archived webcasts, through Sept. 2, relied on ViewCast's Osprey video capture cards to stream the live video to Internet audiences worldwide.

Live closed-captioned video brought individuals with disabilities into the midst of Madison Square Garden for instant access to the GOP convention speakers and sessions

. Internet users tuned in via Windows Media Player to watch proceedings as they took place, or to check out events recorded earlier in the convention.
