Denver-based Citizen Pictures, CPG and Base2 Studios have achieved impressive growth necessitating restructuring and promotion of three senior managers in the organization.
After 13 years as partner and creative director of Citizens Pictures, Jeanne Kopeck has taken on the new role as president and chief creative officer. Anne Fox has been promoted to president and executive producer of CPG after serving for 10 years as partner and executive producer.
Rounding out the reshuffle Frank Matson becomes CEO of the three companies and will continue on as president of Base2Studios. “After 20 years in business the accomplishment that I am most proud of is my partnership with Jeanne and Anne,” said Matson. “The collaboration that I have enjoyed with these two immensely talented individuals has enabled us to grow into three very distinct and successful companies.”

A former art director for KUSA-TV, Kopeck is a multi-award winning, nationally recognized, commercial director
. Her resume boasts seven Emmy Awards, multiple BDA awards and dozens of national Telly Awards. Kopeck’s directorial credits include work for The Discovery Channel, TLC, Travel Channel, National Geographic Television, Turner Classic Movies, Playboy, Hallmark, and the VOOM networks.
Before joining CPG, Fox worked as a news producer for the NBC affiliate in Denver. She has taken home multiple national Telly Awards and a New York Film Festival Award. Fox currently oversees a High Definition television series for the Travel Channel and Discovery HD Theater. Her division was responsible for the production of more than 6o programs last year and is leading CPG’s entrée into the world of HD.
Matson founded CPG in 1984 where he grew the company into three separate facilities servicing every aspect of film and video production and post. Citizen Pictures operates as a live-action film and broadcast design production company. CPG tackles original programming as well as corporate film and video presentations. Base2Studios, a digital HDTV post-production facility, specializes in creative editorial, finishing and motion graphics.
