Digidesign Hosts DigiWorld; Shows ICON, Venue and Other Products at AES 2004

As part of Digidesign’s 20th Anniversary celebration, Digidesign is excited to host the biggest DigiWorld event ever. DigiWorld is a free educational event showcasing the newest products from Digidesign, M-Audio and Digidesign Development Partners. Digidesign invites AES attendees and the general public to its headquarters in Daly City, California on Saturday, October 30, 2004 from 10am to 7pm for a chance to tour the Digidesign facilities, meet Digidesign staff and participate in free Pro Tools classes and whitepaper forums.
DigiWorld will provide hands-on demos of Digidesign ICON Integrated Console, VENUE Live Sound Environment, Pro Tools|HD Accel, the Pro Tools LE family, Digidesign control surfaces and Pro Tools plug-ins. The event will feature the Digidesign Product Solutions Area, which will provide guests an opportunity to learn how to apply the power and flexibility of Pro Tools to their workflow to achieve optimal results in both music and post production environments.
Visitors of DigiWorld can also learn about complete audio solutions for musicians at any level with an overview of M-Audio's comprehensive product line of interfaces, keyboards, microphones, speakers, software and sample libraries at the M-Audio Solutions Theater

. In addition, M-Audio’s interactive area will allow guests to get their hands on the latest technology with the personal assistance of M-Audio product specialists.
At DigiWorld, attendees can get hands-on experience with the latest software and plug-ins from Digidesign Third Party Development Partners. Participants include: Ableton, Antares, Apple, Arturia, Audio Ease, Berkleemusic.com, Bias, Eventide, Fxpansion, INA-GRM, IK Multimedia, McDSP, MOTU, Native Instruments, Princeton Digital, Propellerheads, Trillium Lane Labs, Unique Recording Software, Serato, Sony Oxford, SoundToys, Submersible Music, Virtual Katy Development Limited and Waves.

In addition, Digidesign will once again be an exhibitor at the AES Convention (Booth #712). Digidesign will show several new hardware and software products, with special emphasis on the Digidesign ICON integrated studio console environment and new VENUE live sound reinforcement mixing and processing environment. As a compliment to AES and celebration of its 20th Anniversary, Digidesign will host DigiWorldsm, a free educational event on Saturday, October 30, 2004, at its headquarters in Daly City, California. DigiWorld will provide AES attendees and the general public a hands-on experience with Digidesign, M-Audio, and third-party developers.
