NAB Training Courses Offered for Discreets smoke, flame and 3ds max Solutions

At the National Association of Broadcaster's 2005 convention (NAB), training courses will be given for Discreet's smoke nonlinear editing/finishing system, flame visual effects system and 3ds max animation software. Registration for these courses is now open.

FxGuide Master Classes for existing Discreet editing and visual effects/compositing systems users are being held at Caesar's Palace:
Sunday April 17
9:30 a.m. – Noon
fire/smoke systems class with guest presenters Brian Reid of
Technicolor-Toronto and Michael Ruzicka of CBS Boston

12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
inferno/flame/flint systems class with guest presenter Philippe Soeiro of Éclair Laboratoires

The Sunday April 17 NAB | Post Production World Conference smoke system training classes are for experienced editors and VFX professionals, regardless of their current editing tool of choice. Below are details on this all-day course.

Technical Chair: Antonio Garcia, a freelance editor & effects artist who has edited for Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Ford, McDonald's and Visa. Garcia started his career at the famed Spanish post-house Molinare.
