Acterna, a provider of test and management solutions for consumer and business broadband communications, announced that it has entered into an agreement with Interra Systems, a provider of customizable technology components and services, to offer Interra's new H.264 Analyzer. This deal allows Acterna to provide its global customer base the advanced audio and video analysis capabilities of Interra's analyzer.
Interra's H.264 Analyzer is used in an offline environment to study audio/video elementary streams, complimenting Acterna's realtime transport stream analysis expertise
. The H.264 Analyzer also studies a range of audio/video streams and verifies them for compliance using several digital media standards including H.264 (MPEG-4 Part 10 AVC), MPEG-2 Transport, MPEG-4 Video, MP4, 3GPP, AAC Audio, and AMR. Before introducing a product or application into the market, system developers and integrators are able to verify, debug, and troubleshoot standards and conformance-related problems.
Acterna's DTS-200 and the DTS-330 continue to provide test solutions that support the deployment of new services.
