GV Expo Call for Papers Extends Deadline to June 6

The 8th annual Government Video & Technology Expo will run November 30 - December 1, 2005, at the Washington Convention Center in Washington, DC. And if you want to be a part of the Government Video Conference Program, the deadline for paper proposals is right around the corner.

This year's theme for the Government Video Conference Program is "Leveraging Technology For Maximum ROI," and will include sessions that present technology as a fiscally responsible resource. Conference sessions will consist primarily of in-depth, 25-minute tutorial presentations and case studies. The deadline for paper proposals has been extended to June 6, 2005.

You do not need to be a GV Expo exhibitor or registered attendee to submit a paper, but please submit a paper that relates to one of the subject areas listed below. Only papers specifically targeted for these subject areas will be considered

. Government case studies (federal, state, and local, including education and military) are preferred.
* Asset Management
* Classroom AV
* DVD Authoring
* Media Storage
* New AV Technologies
* New Post-Production Technologies
* New Production Technologies
* Streaming Media / Video Over IP

To submit a paper for consideration, please submit a filled out Proposal Template, which is available online. The completed proposal must be emailed to gvexpopapers@cmpinformation.com and should arrive no later than June 6,2005. Only e-mailed proposals will be accepted.

Selection notification will be made by the GV Expo Conference Program Selection Committee by July 1, 2005. Presenters are responsible for their own transportation to, and accommodations during, GV Expo.
