OmniBus to Host NYC Broadcast Seminar on Content Management & Delivery

OmniBus Systems will host "The Future of Content Management and Delivery: SD to HD to IPTV," a Sept. 29 seminar at New York City's Park Central Hotel featuring presentations on the newest solutions for content management and automation, the real-world implementation of advanced playout systems at Discovery Communications, and the future of content delivery.

OmniBus Vice President of Technology John Wadle will present "Content
Management and Automation Redefined," giving attendees an advance look at
OmniBus solutions for content management, workflow, and delivery automation

. A special presentation by Discovery Communications Senior Vice President of Broadcast Operations John Honeycutt will examine issues in designing, building, and launching a new state-of-the-art broadcast playout facility. OmniBus CTO Ian Fletcher will conclude the discussion with "SD to HD to IPTV: The Future of Content Delivery," a look ahead at how OmniBus' IT-based technology will bring new forms of video content delivery to the broadcast industry.

The seminar will be presented at 9:30 a.m. and again at 1:30 p.m. at the
