The DR Group completed the installation of 26 interconnected workstation locations for top advertising house MOJO, LLC. Corresponding with MOJO's move to a new location, DR Consulting conceived, designed and installed audio and video elements of MOJO's fully integrated machine room and linked the machine room to the creative workstations which service editorial, motion design, sound design, audio mix and print functions utilizing MOJO's Storage Area Network.
The new rooms allow for secure, fast cross-facility coordination and delivery of projects as well as to clients via an AVS 270 Digital Video circuit. The infrastructure installed by DR Consulting supports 4:4:4 HD formats, color correction and 5.1 audio finishing and enables upgrades to future technologies
. The Final Cut Pro powered facility is interconnected using Fibre Channel for media sharing and serial digital interface cables, which allows for secure digital transmission of broadcast quality HD video and audio between the creative workstations, the machine room and the Digital Video uplink.
Led by company founder and digital entertainment expert Lowell Kay, DR Consulting handles all aspects of facility planning from advising on hardware and software systems to developing electrical strategies to logistical wiring and installation. The new unit represents the company's formalization of its years of experience assisting companies in the design and construction of their post facilities.
