BOXX Unveils High-Performance Workstation and Gives Away GoBOXX 1400 Mobile Workstations at NAB

If you are feeling lucky at the National Association of Broadcasters conference (NAB 2006), be sure to stop by the ProMax booth (SL 534) for a chance to win a GoBOXX 1400 mobile workstation powered by AMD’s Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core processor. During NAB 2006, BOXX Technologies, Inc., a developer and manufacturer of high-performance workstations and render nodes for visual effects professionals, will be giving away three GoBOXX 1400 workstations and unveiling for the first time its BOXX APEXX 8 workstation at ProMax and additional partner booths.

At the ProMax booth, BOXX in conjunction with ProMax will demonstrate a variety of HD/SD encoding and video editing solutions integrated by ProMax and running on the 3DBOXX 7400 Series workstation

. BOXX will also conduct comprehensive Maya and Mental Ray demonstrations on the BOXX APEXX 8, a new super-workstation, which boasts the performance of 16 processing cores in a versatile system that is quiet enough to reside right by the artist.
