IRIDAS announced that its new ReviewLink technology will be included with all IRIDAS real-time playback and color correction applications including the FrameCycler Professional RAM-player. ReviewLink allows for secure remote collaboration from multiple locations and is the only such technology to provide synchronized playback of uncompressed content at HD and 2K resolutions.
With ReviewLink, FrameCycler Professional and Digital Daily System users can join sessions hosted by FrameCycler DI or SpeedGrade DI and interactively review shared timelines over a standard VPN network connection
. Playback is synchronized on all machines and can be controlled from any location. IRIDAS .Look files, edits, and even color-grading can be shared in real-time. Changes can be accepted or discarded from any location and the annotation and drawing tools included with ReviewLink allow for live on-screen communication among all participants.
ReviewLink was first introduced with IRIDAS new FrameCycler DI application and is already in use on major productions around the world. The 2006 editions of FrameCycler DDS and FrameCycler Professional are scheduled for release later this summer.
