RED Digital Cinema Offices Burglarized
By Staff, September 26, 2006

RED Digital Cinema founder Jim Jannard announced on DVXUser.com that a break-in has occurred at the company's offices. "There is no question all they came for was RED camera stuff," said Jannard. While items taken included many computers, drives, monitors, camera prototypes, ID files and the company's Scratch system, Jannard announced that it did not appear that any sensors, sensor information or the company's primary shooting camera were missing.

Jannard announced the company is offering a $100,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrators.
