Silicon Imaging to Hold CineForm Seminars

Silicon Imaging will be conducting a series of seminars with CineForm on the workflow and use of the Silicon Imaging 2K series cameras.

The locations will be at NYU in NYC, PS Production Services in Toronto, and B.B. Mobile Productions in Orlando.

Topics will include:
INTRODUCTION TO RAW
- Concepts - What is RAW? ("Digital Negative")
- Benefits of shooting RAW for both camera and post-production
- Integrated workflow Overview: Camera-to-post

INTRODUCTION to SI-2K
- Models (Mini, DVR)
- Differences from standard cameras
- 3D LUTs discussion (on set and post ramifications)
- Pricing and accessories

POST WORKFLOW AND EXAMPLES
- RAW workflow concepts
- Premiere / AE
- Final Cut Pro
- Keying

There will also be a discussion and short hands-on period.
