Post Logic Studios Launches DVD Division

Post Logic Studios announced the launch of their new DVD division based out of its Hollywood facility. As part of the expansion, a complete crew of DVD specialists has come on board to provide comprehensive digital home video services, including mastering, compression, authoring, menu design, and the creation of original value added materials.

Heading the division are three new players to the Post Logic Studios team: Michael Vislar, Director of DVD Operations; Mike DeFusco, Director of DVD Production; and Perry Martin, Director of Creative Services.

With 10 years of experience in the home video business and thousands of titles to his credit, Vislar joins Post Logic as its new Director of DVD Operations

. Vislar will supervise a team of technicians and graphic designers in handling all aspects of DVD creation, including authoring, compression, menu design and quality control.

Mike DeFusco will serve as the company's Director of DVD Production. A 20-year veteran in the industry, DeFusco will oversee all of the new division's video restoration and mastering.

Perry Martin joins the team as Director of Creative Services, after seven years of experience producing award-winning DVDs, including projects for filmmakers as diverse as Michael Mann, Peter Jackson and Paul Verhoeven. Martin's unit will produce documentaries, behind-the-scenes featurettes, audio commentaries and other value added materials.
