On Thursday, March 15, Panasonic Broadcast and PlasterCITY Digital Post (PCDP) are offering professionals the chance to learn about P2 HD technology in PCDP's Digital Cinema Lab. The multi-session open house will also give professionals an inside look at the "HDI" digital intermediate workflow and its benefits for film.
The P2 HD and P2 Series Open House will provide a detailed overview of the benefits of Panasonic's P2 HD solid-state memory-based cameras including the AG-HVX200 handheld, AJ-HPX2000 and AG-HPX500 shoulder-mounts as well as P2 workflow and bridge solutions such as the AJ-HPM100 P2 Mobile and the AG-HPG10 P2 Gear viewer/player. Whether using film, digital, or a combination of the two, PlasterCITY's custom HDI workflow - a comprehensive, uncompressed workflow that couples the cinematic qualities of 2K with the cost effectiveness and ease of HD tape - utilizes affordable and popular desktop tools for editorial and is optimal for every independent film.
