David Pincus and Josh Kandal of Electric Picture Solutions (EPS) announced their purchase of shares in Hula Post Production. They join Hula Post Production as CFO and COO of Hula Post, respectively. The company is headed by CEO Denine James-Nio.
Hula Post Production, founded in 1997, provides standard and Hi-Def video decks, drives, & editing systems including Avid & Final Cut Pro to their clients who include MTV, CSI New York, Dr. Phil, & The Academy Awards
. In the future, Hula Post Production plans to offer standard and HD online services as well as editing suites.
James-Nio joined Hula Post in 2001, specializing in Avid sales, technical knowledge and workflow management. The company focuses on renting Hi-Definition video decks and HD peripheral equipment, hard drive storage and Avid and Final Cut Pro editing systems.
EPS and Hula Post Production are located in Studio City and will operate as separate companies but will work together to serve the post-production rental and technical needs of the studios, networks and independent production companies.
