Anton Bauer DT-500 Camera Power Supply Debuts NAB 2009
April 20, 2009

Continuing its mission to provide reliable power supplies for the high-end video camera market, Anton/Bauer, a brand of the Vitec Group, introduced the DT-500 500-watt power supply at NAB 2009. The DT-500 power supply meets the power requirements of high-end Sony F23 and F35 HD cameras.

The DT-500’s dual 14.4V outputs offer 300W of power with a 20 amp capacity via two 4-pin XLRs or one 8-pin Lemo connector which provides simultaneous 28V (regulated) and 14.4V outputs to the camera. In addition, it has a wide range input of 100-240V AC 50/60 Hz. The physical build consists of a compact design with a diameter of 10.73” x 7.01” x 5.81”, resulting in a total weight of a manageable 6.75 lb.

“There are many things to consider when preparing for a production, and having a reliable power source for the video camera is right at the top of that list,” says Michael Accardi, president of Anton/Bauer. “Since the DT-500 provides rock-solid outputs to run high-end cameras, such as the Sony F23 and F35, you won’t ever have to worry about your power source. We believe this supply will be embraced by all users of this equipment.”
