Now Final Cut Pro editors can enjoy the fast Quantel sQ Server workflow – including editing clips that are still being recorded and instant playout of Final Cut edits. This exciting new development is shipping and is the first application of our new virtualisation technology.

At IBC we’re introducing virtualisation and its benefits for broadcast file-based workflows. Virtual files eliminate typical workflow issues such as latency and the management of multiple versions, helping file-based operation achieve its full potential.
