Anton/Bauer, a brand of the Vitec Group, is introducing the LED EledZ and ULHM-LED light modules at IBC. Together with Litepanels, a sister Vitec Group brand, Anton/Bauer has developed the signature EledZ and ULHM-LED LED lights to complement the UltraLight Series and ElipZ battery system.
“We are happy to finally provide an LED lighting solution for our customers,” says Martyn Sly-Jex, regional sales manager for EMEA. “With the additional power draw from today’s cameras, customers need a way to maximize their battery run time. The EledZ and ULHM-LED lights successfully cut down on the total power consumption of a user’s lights, giving them an easy way to extend the run time and battery power.”
About EledZ
Designed for use with the Anton/Bauer ElipZ 10K battery, the EledZ is an integral LED light perfect for today’s smaller handheld cameras. When used with the ElipZ battery system, the EledZ (5.5” x 4” x 1.5” WHD) produces heat-free and flicker-free soft bright light of 5,600°K and weighs 4 oz. Consuming 4.5 watts, the EledZ includes a dimmer that allows for light output adjustments from 0 to 100 percent, with very minimal color change.
With the ElipZ 10K battery, the typical run time for powering the EledZ and a camera is five hours. The light output is 52fc (560 lux) at 2 feet. A filter is included with the kit which allows a user to change color temperature down to 3,200°K as necessary.
About ULHM-LED
The ULHM-LED is an LED head module designed for use with the Anton/Bauer UltraLight. The versatility of the UltraLight Head Module has been its most beneficial feature over the past 20 years, allowing a videographer to quickly change to an HMI (UltraDAYlight) or carry a spare head module. Now, with the development of the ULHM-LED, a videographer can maximize his investment with the choice of using tungsten, HMI or LED lighting with the same light base.
The ULHM-LED head module (5.68” x 4.09” x 1.65” WHD) weighs 10.5 oz. and provides heat-free and flicker free soft bright light of 5,600°K. With a very low power consumption of 9 watts, the added ability to dim the light from 0 to 100 percent with minimal color temperature change makes thisan efficient LED.
The ULHM-LED head module puts out 100fc (1100 lux) at 2 feet while consuming one-third of the power of a tungsten light. A filter is included with the package that allows users to change the color temperature to 3,200°K as required.
