PJ Pereira, chief creative officer at Pereira & O’Dell, has built a business over the last two years by blurring the lines between marketing and advertising.

Businesses have taken a scalpel to their advertising and marketing spending during the recession, but Pereira & O’Dell managed to woo clients by being nimble and creative at a time when the advertising industry has failed to adapt its services to rapidly changing needs, Pereira said.
