Anonymous Content <http://www.anonymouscontent.com> Director Andrew Douglas, via Team One, recently completed a compelling :60 promoting Lexus' line of hybrid vehicles. The spot is a masterpiece of choreography and a beautiful ode to the luxury car maker's foresight.
Milestones features swarms of Lexus hybrid vehicles, often viewed from overhead and often from on-the-ground camera angles, flocking in choreographed patterns across a giant paved surface. As a voiceover explains how far out in front of the competition Lexus was in introducing its line of hybrid cars (when the first one debuted, Facebook was run out of a dorm room, YouTube didn't exist, and more people had land lines than cell phones), the onscreen autos form corresponding shapes - a gas pump, a rotary telephone - until the entire herd comes together to form the elegant "H" encased in a circle that is the Lexus hybrid logo, a symbolic act reinforcing the company's dominance in the field of green vehicles.
